Copper recovery from mining side stream
The challenge: Low-concentration copper is lost in acidic process water stream containing high levels of other dissolved metals and contaminants.
The solution: 4D Scavenger® selectively recovers up to 99% of the dissolved copper, converting the side stream into high-purity copper sulfate with an option to convert into solid Cu through precipitation or electrochemical methods. Potential:
