This acquisition is a central part of the company’s efforts to expand its production capacity and supports Weeefiner’s goals of promoting more energy-efficient and lower-emission production by leveraging innovative 4D Scavenger® technology. The project is being carried out from 1 September 2024 to 30 November 2024 as part of The Innovation and Skills in Finland 2021–2027 program, which supports sustainable transformation, skills development, and inclusion.
The core objective of the project was to bring a new 3D printer into Weeefiner’s production facilities to meet growing market demand. The printer enables expansion of 4D Scavenger® production and facilitates development of the Scavenger 2.0 version—supporting the shift toward industrial-scale production.
